Ozempic (semaglutide) is a medication primarily used to manage type 2 diabetes, but it is also prescribed off-label for weight loss due to its appetite-suppressing effects. While many people use Ozempic safely, there are potential side effects, some of which can be serious.

My Experience,

I started taking the meds a year ago. I first thought it was a miracle drug, never felt better after struggling with PCOS and insulin resistance.
I felt it had zero side effects other than some constipation. About 7 months in I experienced EXTREME abdominal pain, continuous vomiting, and diarrhea. I called 911 and by the time I got to the hospital I had hypothermia, complete loss of bowel control, very low blood pressure, and was septic. Spent 4 days in hospital.
Not one doctor thought ozempic was the issue since I had been on it so long with no incident. Went off for 2 months while running tons of tests to check if anything was missed. Spent 3 months getting back to 1 mg and 3 weeks later it happened again. Not as bad but colitis, low blood pressure, nonstop vomiting.
This time everyone said ozempic based on how many more patients they have seen. The paramedic said he had seen a ton of ozempic pickups. So it was great until it tried to kill me. It can be dangerous and I easily could have died from taking it. Needless to say, I’m done with it.
Must ask your healthcare provider to guide you properly before initiating any drug into your regimen.

Many people forget about proper nutrition while on Ozempic—just because you don’t feel hungry doesn’t mean your body doesn’t need essential nutrients. This can lead to various side effects.
Also, with long-term use, some people may develop antibodies to Ozempic, which could reduce its effectiveness in rare cases. It’s important to stay mindful of your diet and monitor how your body responds to prolonged use.
