A useful exercise for this section: reviewing any posted stack and asking, for each product, what measured deficiency or functional indication justifies it. I have observed that this question rarely has an answer for more than the first two or three items.
The intervention hierarchy in bodybuilding nutrition is unusually compressed. A small number of inputs carry the large majority of the measurable effect, including adequate protein intake, creatine, caffeine as a performance aid, and correction of deficiencies identified through bloodwork. Interventions ranked below these occupy a much narrower effect range, and stacking narrow effects does not sum them multiplicatively.
The spending pattern this produces is worth examining as well. In many stacks, expenditure on marginal products exceeds what improving food quality would cost, despite the latter having a substantially larger expected effect size. Conceding an obvious caveat up front: targeted supplementation for a confirmed deficiency is genuinely valuable. The condition is the word confirmed.
My question for the section: of the items currently in your stack, how many were added following a lab result compared with the number added based on marketing exposure? Honest tallies would let us map where the useful tier of this category actually ends.
