We have been hearing for the last 8 months about raw powders manufacturing problems and shortage on the market. Most manufacturing labs delay the orders or refuses to sell to new or small re-sellers. That makes bigger sellers- websites to increase the price and use this "shortage" for they benefit to make more money.
The issue is China, few big manufacturing labs producing raw powders has been closed and that is the main issue. We talking here about UG labs.

@MrChris is right about the core issue, but I think the situation is more nuanced than just "labs shutting down in China." What we're seeing is a convergence of three factors that will shape this market over the next 18-24 months:
First, the regulatory crackdown in China did hit mass production hard, but what nobody's talking about is how it pushed a lot of producers to migrate toward India, Eastern Europe, and a few hubs in Southeast Asia. This isn't a total blackout, it's a fragmented relocation that affects lead times and logistics costs across the board.
Second, and this is key, UG labs operating at scale no longer have easy access to consistent-quality raw powders because the major manufacturers are prioritizing clients with long-term contracts and guaranteed volumes. Smaller re-sellers get squeezed out of that equation. It's not arbitrary gatekeeping, it's operational risk management on the producer side.
Third and this is where most people misread the "high prices" it's not pure speculation. Cost per mg has gone up 30-50% on most compounds based on what I'm seeing from the production side. When someone's selling Test C at last year's price, they're either burning capital or working with compromised purity raws.
For anyone looking for stable sources in this climate: the goal shouldn't be finding the lowest price, but understanding whether your source has direct access to a certified lab or is working through second-tier intermediaries who slap 40% on top just for "availability" markup. In times like these, transparency about raw origin should be a standard part of any serious conversation with a supplier.
If anyone wants to talk specifics about which compounds are still relatively accessible vs. which ones are genuinely tight, I'm happy to share perspective from the operations side without coming in with a sales pitch.
