Event Highlights

One of the greatest highlights of the 2026 Global Classic Hong Kong Pro Show was the involvement of numerous international target players.

Competitors from nine different countries and territories competed in the Men's Physique category, and even more in Bikini. Athletes from 12 nations (Japan, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, South Korea, Australia, Ukraine, Russia, Mexico, United States and Taiwan) participated in Bikini. It was also a historic occasion as Hong Kong was again an elite competitive event for bodybuilders in Asia.

The Global Classic Hong Kong Pro Show is an established event that has featured Classic Physique, Men's Physique, and Bikini classes in past editions, with Lei Yingqi winning the Classic Physique title, Heng Zhao securing the Men's Physique, and Li Shuai winning the Bikini in 2025. For the 2026 event, the categories were split into two because the judges wanted two bodybuilders to compete: the Men's Physique and Bikini divisions, which have been very competitive over the years, with athletes from around Asia competing.

Final Thoughts

The 2026 Global Classic Hong Kong Pro Show in Hong Kong was an outstanding international competition with two divisions leaving well-defined winners.

Li Xiaolong won the Men's Physique with a defeat of Farouq Ishimoto and Jiang Kun Zhi from Japan and China, respectively. Sally-Anne Kato won the Bikini title, defeating Cynthia Chen and Wu Bi. The event again highlighted the rising level of professional bodybuilding in Asia.
